Gratitude for life
and all its experiences opens us to miracles beyond our imagination
When we
take away all of the perceived stresses of the day, gratitude is one of our
natural states. It is as natural as the
peace and joy we experience as a natural state of the love that we are. When we chose gratitude as a way of life, we
create more of it. We see the dance of
creation in every moment. It is surely an
example of our Spirit, Mind and Body all in an energetic, harmonious dance with
life.
Gratitude
is more than just a state of mind, it is an emotion. It is energy in motion and has a specific
feeling in our bodies when we are in a state of gratitude. To me it feels full and graceful. All parts of my body feel nurtured, secure
and safe. All parts of me feel abundant
and ready to create. It magnetizes to
you that which is for your highest good, as like vibration (energy) attracts
like vibration.
In this
state of gratitude, we create from the fullness of who we are - Spirit. Gratitude aligns us to the present moment and
helps us to release the fears of the past and the worries of the future. In gratitude, we are not creating to avoid a
past hurt or future rejection. We are
not creating to hold on to something.
When we are in gratitude, the fullness of who we are – Spirit, simply
creates more wonderful experiences in our life.
Even during the experiences that may seem ‘bad,’ if we can find the
greater ‘gift’ for the experience via gratitude, we are in a more empowered place.
Gratitude
aligns you to the infinite flow of giving and receiving. I often experience gratitude as a never
ending, energetic ‘infinity sign’ of energy flowing from my heart to yours or
creation’s heart and back again. I am in
a dance or flow of creative energy and am grateful for the experience. Gratitude is a flowing energy. Being out of gratitude can cause us to feel
constricted and contracted, such as when we judge or worry. That slows the energy of creativity down and
then the experience begins to feel ‘negative’.
Simply enjoy life and the feelings of gratitude will shine the way for
miracles in your life.
Gratitude
for things such as your family, car, house, and a job is a good start. But gratitude simply for the material things
is somewhat temporary. If something were
to shift in one of these areas, how would you feel? You might not feel gratitude then. True gratitude is a state of being and is not
dependent on a certain creation being in your life. It is gratitude for the experience of life
that creates the empowered life. The
gratitude for the experience of life, for creating life no matter what it is,
is the true gratitude of the Spirit/Mind/Body connection. This is the gratitude that brings about
miracles.
Here is
an example of a miracle of gratitude in my life. I have healed myself of a long-term allergy
to oak bloom through gratitude. I went
to all my experiences in my life of oak bloom and found the gratitude around
them. I stated my gratitude for the oak
trees, which I absolutely love. I found
the gratitude about having the allergies.
The day after I celebrated my gratitude for the oak bloom, I swept a
huge pile of collected oak bloom and oak leaves from my back patio. I didn’t sneeze once. And this whole spring,
I have not had any allergies. I didn’t
do anything different than hold gratitude for the oak tree and oak bloom and
for all my experiences with the oak bloom, whether I was sneezing or not. I am sure the energy of gratitude helped to
amplify my immune system and that assisted me in not reacting to the oak
bloom. I also believe that as I claimed
gratitude around the oak bloom my body realized it didn’t need to ‘react’ to it
any more in order to protect me.
I am
sure you will have miracles in your life as well, when you embrace the
gratitude as a state of being.
If you
wish to do some fun things to bring about an ‘attitude of gratitude,’ see what
calls to you from the following list.
Make it fun. Make it simple. Feel the empowerment and Celebrate!
·
Greet the day with
a sense of gratitude and wonder for what the day it has to bring.
·
Create a
gratitude journal and write down each day the things you are grateful for.
·
Create a
gratitude list and hang it on the refrigerator.
I have attached a gratitude list to the end of this article. You can print it and start your list
now!
·
At the dinner
table with your family or friends, discuss what you were grateful for during
the day and night.
·
Discuss gratitude
and experiences of joy with your kids in the car on the way home from school,
or to and from soccer practice, for example.
Ask them what they enjoyed. Ask
them why they liked something and how it made them ‘feel.’ Feeling is a great link to the
Spirit/Mind/Body connection and so important for all of us to connect to. It is our intuitive voice in connection with
the universe.
·
Take an
experience that you may have considered ‘negative’ and find the gift in
it. This will lead you to understanding
how gratitude feels within you and anchor that understanding for many glorious
days to come.
